Maddy's first trip to the park

The Morrell ladies stopped by last weekend for some Maddy time. We had breakfast for lunch and then took Maddy to the park behind our house. I had seen a baby in US Weekly swinging and hadn't realize that Maddy could fit in one of those bucket seats. It was awesome! She had so much fun and we had so much fun watching her.

Maddy is finally rolling!

Yaaay! We've been working on it constantly for the past few weeks and she finally got it. She only goes from her tummy to her back for now, but she's getting very close to rolling from her back to her tummy. I'm posting a video of her rolling, some cute pics from yesterday, and a video of her eating her first teething cookie.

The Christmas Party that Wasn't

My Mom's group threw a Christmas party on the 6th from 1 - 5, with Santa showing up at 2:00. Maddy sleeps from 1 - 3, so we figured wer go whenever she woke up and join the festivities late. We got there at 3:15, and some friends of ours were on their way out and said the shindig was over and Santa had left the building. So we had them take some pics and went back home. Bah Humbug.

Maddy sits with Santa

Johnny and I took Madison to see Santa on Monday. We didn't have to wait long, thank goodness. She wasn't too impressed by Santa and was more in awe of the five people aiming a huge camera at her. Santa was very sweet and told us how handsome our baby is. Hmpf. Afterwards we met her Grandpa for lunch at RipTide where she covered the floor in cheerios.

Christmas Dress

Maddy's Gampie gave her a couple of Christmas dresses before she was born, one for this Christmas and one for next. She tried it on and I took a little video. She was not too thrilled, but still fun to watch.

Dog Park

I've got a ton of pics to post and a video...I'll do them slowly. This video is of Maddy at the dog park. Kona was giving me the guilty stare and I decided to take the poor dear to the dog park. We haven't been in over a year, and Kona loooved it. Our grass has been too muddy for her to run around in, so she had a blast tearing arse around the dog park. Maddy sat patiently (sort of) and watched.

Thanksgiving

Madison's first Thanksgiving was...well..she missed it. We built her high chair and had a sweet potato all ready for her to destroy, and then she got very very tired and went to bed before dinner. GG and Grandpa came over (thank you for all of your help Linda) as well as all of the Morrells. Madison had a full audience at all times.

Here are some pictures of before she passed out, as well as some other pics of her from the days surrounding.
