What an awesome weekend. I had to travel last week for work and missed my Maddy and all the kids to pieces. I hate being away for so long. The house was full of kiddos this weekend and we had so much fun. Today we made a big breakfast and then carved pumpkins, Ethan helping Maddy with hers. She was singing this adorable song that DiDi taught the kids and I had to get it on video.

It's been...a long time
So it’s been a craaaazy year and a half. I just revisited this blog last night after not seeing it in ages and it made tear up thinking that when my marriage ended so did the posts that have been cataloging Maddy’s life since…well…practically birth. So I’m back. We’re back. I’ve got my flip camera charged and ready to capture and share my sweet Maddy moments with friends and family.
Maddy’s life has changed quite a bit. Her family looks a little different. She’s still surrounded by the original players who have always loved and adored her, me half the time, her daddy half the time, her GG, Papa, Gampie and Grammie as much as possible. Her Aunties and Uncles.
There are a few new family members in our household: her Tum and his wonderful kiddos who she calls Zulia, Effan, Dalton, and Zoey. I’m not sure she always understands the new dynamic, but she adores what she sometimes calls her friends, sometimes her family. It’s an all new experience for her to share her mommy, her space, and spotlights with so many new people. She loves the hustle and bustle of our chaotic house and all of her people, and she also cherishes her daddy’s house with her dog and her own space. She has adjusted to her new life extremely well and is as smiley, silly, and sweet as ever. I don’t know what’s up with all of this “S” alliteration. I can’t stop… so sue me. :)
I’m going to start posting my favorite pics of her over the past year and new videos and pics as well.
